Joy is the essence of life, being joyous isn’t a luxury its a matter of life and death, you have to imagine that you are in quicksand and joy is the rock that your'e clutching on to. Please know that all the evil in the world is focused on dragging the joy out of your heart and the moment that it does, it wins. You can be the holiest, but the moment that you are sad you don’t have the strength for the smallest test in life and life is full of tests. If I am really, really filled with joy then the smallest good that I see in another person blows my mind, so look around brothers and see if you are really, really filled with joy.
